MCD: MCU and Connectivity Division
Cypress MCD delivers high-performance, programmable solutions and connectivity solutions at the heart of today's most advanced embedded systems. The MCU and analog business includes high-performance Traveo™ automotive MCUs, PSoC® programmable system-on-chip MCUs, ARM® Cortex®-M4, -M3, -M0+ MCUs and R4 CPUs, analog PMIC Power Management ICs, CapSense® capacitive-sensing controllers and TrueTouch® touchscreen and fingerprint reader products. The connectivity business includes Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, Bluetooth Low Energy and ZigBee® radios and combination system-on-chip wireless connectivity solutions supported by the WICED® development platform for the Internet of Things ("IoT"), as well as USB controllers, including solutions for the USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (PD) standards. Cypress MCD also includes our intellectual property (IP) and foundry businesses.
MPD: Memory Products Division
By delivering the broadest portfolio of high-performance memories for embedded systems, Cypress has established itself as the marketshare leader in SRAM, and NOR Flash memories that form the brains of today's most advanced embedded systems. The memory product portfolio includes the world's highest throughput QDR®-IV SRAMs, low-power MoBL® SRAMs, high-performance serial and parallel NOR Flash memories and high-reliability F-RAM™ ferroelectric memory devices that capture and protect the world's most-critical data. Cypress's industry-leading HyperFlash™ memories deliver 333 megabytes per second read throughput-more than five times faster than traditional Quad SPI flash, and one-third the number of pins of parallel NOR flash. Cypress MPD also includes our subsidiary AgigA, Tech Inc.
